Living only a block away from the library turned me into a voracious reader at a very young age. But it was being a library aide in middle and high school that set me on a path into the wonderful world of literature early on in my life.
I am a happily married, mother of two, who still lives in her hometown in the beautiful state of Iowa. After high school, I bounced around, never really finding my niche, until I was offered the Children's and Teen’s Librarian position at my hometown library. It was this job that really opened the door for me. After a small bout with cancer (which I WON), and taking a job with Rachel Caine, I opted to leave the library community to work from home and be a more hands-on mom. Years of working for Rachel introduced me to new authors, friends, colleagues, and industry professionals in the literary world, allowing me to gain new clients and grow my business while still being home to support my family. It is thanks to Rachel that I have been able to turn my love of books, reading, and all things bookish into a career through which I can support my family. I will be eternally grateful to Rachel for all the doors she opened for me, and for plucking me out of the middle of a corn field and giving me this amazing life!
